Annual General Meeting

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday 3rd November 2017, starting at 11.00am, at Queens Road Baptist Church, Queens Road, Coventry, CV1 3EG.  Light refreshments will be available after the meeting.

You must be a member to attend.  You can sign up for (free) membership on the day or you can download and complete our membership form and bring it with you.

Our guest speaker is Gavin Kibble, the founder of Coventry Foodbank.  Since it started in 2011, Coventry Foodbank has fed nearly 100,000 people.  Engaging with 330 agencies around the city (schools, charities, public sector), it has become an intrinsic part of the city’s welfare system – in partnership with many other organisations it has helped to provide a safety net for the most vulnerable in our community.  It is also a real-time barometer of the causes of social deprivation that give rise to food poverty.

The purpose of our Annual General Meeting is to:

  • allow our members to receive a report on our achievements over the year;
  • to elect members of our Trustee Board for the coming year;
  • to consider and approve our annual financial accounts; and
  • to make any changes to our constitution.
