Annual General Meeting

Our most recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Friday 3rd November 2017 at Queens Road Baptist Church, in Coventry.

We hold an Annual General Meeting to:

  • allow our members to receive a report on our achievements over the year;
  • to elect members of our Trustee Board for the coming year;
  • to consider and approve our annual financial accounts; and
  • to make any changes to our constitution.

Our guest speaker was Gavin Kibble, the founder of Coventry Foodbank.  Since it started in 2011, Coventry Foodbank has fed nearly 100,000 people.  Engaging with 330 agencies around the city (schools, charities, public sector), it has become an intrinsic part of the city’s welfare system – in partnership with many other organisations it has helped to provide a safety net for the most vulnerable in our community.  It is also a real-time barometer of the causes of social deprivation that give rise to food poverty.  You can view Gavin’s presentation to our AGM and also find out more about the Coventry Food Charter.
