Christmas and New Year closure

Our advice service closes at 4pm on Friday 22nd December 2023. We will reopen as normal on Wednesday 3rd January 2024.

If you need help over the Christmas period please see our links page and the City Council’s Cost of Living pages.

We would like to wish you all peace and happiness over the festive season.

Telephone advice changes

Due to staff shortages, we have changed the operating times of our Adviceline (024 7652 1101). From Monday 18th July 2022, advice will be available by telephone on:

  • Tuesday: 1.30pm to 4.30pm
  • Wednesday: 9.30am to 12.30pm
  • Friday: 9.30 am to 12.30pm

Although this change represents a reduction in the days we are available by phone, we hope to have more advisers on the line each time.

Don’t forget that you can send an advice enquiry any time using our online form.

Thank you for your understanding.

Advice service update

From Monday 25th April 2022, our opening times for telephone advice are changing. The new times are:

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
  • Tuesday: 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm
  • Thursday, Saturday & Sunday: Advice line is closed (but you can still send an online enquiry at any time).

When you call, our advisers will try to help with your query straightaway if they can. Sometimes they may need to look into matters further and call you back, or they may need to see you in person. Sometimes we may not be the best service for you and they will give you information about other ways you can get help. Please be assured, we always aim to do our very best to help resolve the problem you are having.

How to get advice

You can now contact us for advice by sending a message online or by calling us.

You can use this form to send us an enquiry at any time.

You can also phone for advice on either 07923 126 426 or 07923 126 430. Our lines are open between 10 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 4 pm each weekday (except Wednesday afternoons when we are closed).

The telephone lines can be busy, so you might find sending us a message easier and more convenient.

You can also find lots of information online from national organisations and from services in Coventry. Have a look at our ‘other help‘ page.

We are coming to Radford!

We are really pleased to announce that we are launching a new ‘drop-in’ advice session in Radford.

The first session will be on Friday 15th March 2019 and will run every Friday until further notice. Our adviser will be available between 9.30am and 12 noon.

The session will be at Pathways Family Hub which is based on the Radford Primary Academy School site, Lawrence Saunders Road, Coventry CV6 1HD

Please see our home page for details of the kind of things we can help with and how our ‘drop-in’ service operates.

Thank you to all the team at Pathways Family Hub for their kind support for our service.
